🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

This race will take you along the NEWLY RESURFACED scenic trails of the Lewis and Clark Lake Recreation area.

• Route: Runners travel on established, new paved trails that trek through wooded areas as they wind along the shores of Lewis and Clark Lake and Lake Yankton.
• Views: There are spectacular views of the area and wildlife from the trails.
• Wildlife: The lake area is a winter haven for Bald Eagles.
• Scenery: We do not think you will find a more beautiful race route to run!

📅 Race Check-In and Packet Pickup

Race check in and packet pick up:

• Location: At Ace Bike & Fitness 2404 Broadway (recommended) day before event from 4:30-7:30 PM Friday: new registrations will also be accepted at ACE during check in period.
• Event Day: Day of event at the picnic shelter at Gavins Point Area, 1 hour before race, closes 15 minutes before each race.

🏆 Awards and Timing

CHIP TIMED. Prizes awarded to the OVERALL male and female AND prizes awarded to the first and second place male and female in the following age divisions:

• Age Divisions: 1-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, and 61-99.
• Presence: You must be present to receive awards if you place. No awards will be mailed out.
• Finisher Medals: Finishing medals for all 1/2 marathon runners.
• Shirts: Shirts for runners only.

⏱️ Course Details

• Grass Sections: There are two very short grass sections that link the trails.
• Finish Time: All races completed by 11:00 am.
