Join us for another cross-country adventure at the Okefenokee Swamp Park in Waycross at the 47th annual Swamp Run! This race is one of the second oldest continuous races in South Georgia.

• Course: A unique, mostly-dirt course on forest service roads through the beautiful area around the park.

Packet Pickup will take place at the Okefenokee Swamp Annex building:

• Time: 8 am on Saturday 10/19

⏰ Race Times

• 10k: 9 am
• 1 Mile: 11 am
• Entry: Each participant gets a free pass to enter the Swamp Park on race day!

This race supports the UGA Alligator Research Project in Partnership with the Okefenokee Swamp Park.

• Focus: Conservation and education efforts to maintain the swamp’s native alligator population.
• Collaboration: Partnership between University of Georgia researchers and the Okefenokee Swamp Park.
• Objective: To provide a better understanding of alligators and enhance wildlife education.
• Significance: Vital to the economic vitality of the region.

Awards will be given as follows:

• Top 1: Male and female finishers - OVERALL, MASTERS (40+)
• Top 3: In 10-year age groups (last Age Group is 70+)
