The Rehab Rover Canicross and Trail Race powered by Veterinary Rehabilitation Services of Virginia and Harness Canicular LLC presents the first Canicross race in Virginia on October 5, 2024.
🐾 Event Activities
- Rehab Rover Finisher's Festival: Enjoy food, music, and vendors from 9 am to 2 pm.
- Rodeo Dog: Learn how to be a Rodeo Dog for free.
- Dog-Friendly Trail Run: Join the 5k Casual Dog Friendly Run for a fun experience with your dog.
- On-Site Activities: Canine massage therapy and Rodeo Dog demonstrations available.

- T-shirt and Medal: Each participant receives a logo race T-shirt and a finisher medal.
- Accommodations: Camping and RV options available for participants traveling from afar.
- On-Site Stay: Limited rooms at the Clifton House for event attendees upon reservation.

📆 Race Day Schedule
- Packet Pickup: Begins on-site on Friday at 4:00 pm with race day check-in at 7:00 am.
- Start Times: 10 K Canicross at 8:30 AM, 5k Canicross at 9:00 AM, and 5K Casual Dog Friendly Run at 9:30 AM.
- Aid Station: Water/aid station available at 1.5 miles on the course.
- Photography: Professional photographers stationed along the course.
🐕 Event Guidelines
- No Greet Policy: Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times with no interaction with other animals or humans.
- Volunteers: Assistance needed for setup, breakdown, and race day operations.
- Sponsors & Vendors: Opportunities available for businesses interested in vending or sponsoring the event.
- Weather & Safety Plans: Contingency plans in place for weather conditions, and safety measures for participants and dogs.
