🌍 TMC Earth Day 5K at Biosphere 2

🎉 Event Highlights

• Course: A 3.1 mile run and walk entirely on the grounds of Biosphere 2.
• Scenery: Rolling course with stunning desert and mountain views.
• Post-Race Fun: Enjoy music and food, plus activities for all ages.
• Free Entry: Includes access to the Biosphere 2 informative tour.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

• Souvenir Shirt: Given to the first 600 registrants.
• Finisher's Video: Timed 5k event with video capture.
• Awards: Age group and overall awards courtesy of The Running Shop.
• Food: Vendors will be present with snacks and drinks.

🗓️ Schedule of Events

• Packet Pickup: April 17 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at The Running Shop.
• Race Day: April 18 with packet pickup starting at 7:15 am.
• Start Time: 8:30 am for the TMC Earth Day 5K.
• Awards Ceremony: 10:00 am followed by event wrap-up.

🎈 Family-Friendly Activities

• Kids Dash: Free for children of all ages at 9:45 am.
• Children's Zone: A special area just for kids.
• Strollers: Allowed on the course, making it a child-friendly event.
• Special Pricing: $5 for children 14-and-under includes race number and entry, but no t-shirt.

🌄 Terrain and Weather

• Terrain: Mostly pavement, with a brief dirt section.
• Difficulty: Some hilly sections along the course.
• Weather: Anticipate temperatures in the 50's to 70's.
• Accessibility: Be mindful of hills and dirt roads: service animals welcome.
