🌍 TMC Earth Day 5K Details

🏁 Race Overview

• Location: Entirely on the grounds of the famed Biosphere 2 facility.
• Course: A rolling 3.1-mile route with beautiful desert and mountain views.
• Activities: Relax, enjoy music, food, and other fun activities after the race.
• Tour: Free entry for all registrants to the informative tour of Biosphere 2.

🎉 Post-Race Fun

• Refreshments: Snacks and drinks available post-race.
• Food Trucks: Delicious food available for purchase.
• Kids Activities: Fun activities for children during the event.
• Free Souvenir: Shirts to the first 600 registrants.

📅 Race Schedule

• Thursday, April 17: Packet pickup and in-person registration at The Running Shop from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
• Race Day, Saturday, April 19: Registration from 7:15-8:15 am at Biosphere 2.
• Race Start: 8:30 am for the TMC Earth Day 5k Run/Walk.
• Awards Ceremony: 10:00 am, prizes courtesy of The Running Shop.

👨‍👧‍👦 Family & Accessibility

Bring the Kids! Strollers are allowed, and there's a Kid's Dash for young participants. Special $5 entry for children 14-and-under, which includes timing and entry to Biosphere 2.

• Terrain: Mostly pavement with some dirt sections.
• Difficulty: Hilly in sections.
• Weather: Typically between 50's - 70's degrees.
• Pets: Not allowed at the event.
