Lucky Paws Animal Assistance Annual “Wag through the Pines” Doggie Walk/Run

🐾 Event Overview

We are excited to announce that Lucky Paws Animal Assistance is hosting its 5th Annual "Wag through the Pines" Doggie Walk/Run to raise funds for the welfare of unwanted, mistreated, and neglected animals. The event will be held at the beautiful White Horse Winery, located at 106 Hall St., Hammonton, NJ, on Saturday, April 26th, starting at 10 am.

👟 Participation Details

• Event Options: You can participate in either walk/run event with your 2- or 4-legged family members.
• Leash Requirements: Your pets must always be leashed, and NO RETRACTABLE leashes are allowed.
• Strollers: Strollers are allowed, but be aware that most of the race will take place through the vineyards.

🎉 Event Activities

• Entertainment: We will have music, vendors, a food truck, and photos with your pet.
• Raffle: A 50/50 raffle will be held at the event.
• Complimentary Treats: For participants who are 21 years of age or older, registration includes a complimentary glass of wine and a glass to take home.
• Relaxation: After the race, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the outside courtyard with your pet.

🏅 Swag and Fundraising

• Swag Offer: If you register before March 26th, you will receive Wag through the Pines swag, including a t-shirt for humans and a bandana for your four-legged friends.
• Encouragement to Fundraise: Start a fundraiser today: if you raise over $150.00, you'll have your registration fee waived!
• Impact: It's a win-win situation that allows you to contribute to a great cause while saving money.

🕙 Event Guidelines

• Check-in: Please arrive BEFORE 10 am to check in and collect a packet.
• Course Closure: The course will be closed once the 10 am wave is over.
• Course Options: The event offers a 1 Mile Walk or 3 Mile Walk/Run through the vineyards.
• No Timekeeper: Participants can run or walk for the 3-mile option, but there won't be a timekeeper.

🌍 Virtual Participation

We understand that some people may want to support our cause but cannot attend the event. We have provided a virtual registration that includes a race bib and swag. You can complete your 1-mile or 3-mile walk/run the week of the event at your location and post pictures on our event page.

🛍️ Donation Information

We will also be collecting donations at this event! Please feel free to bring items like towels, blankets (please no comforters or pillows), pet beds, bleach, dawn dish soap, laundry detergent, training pads, both metal and plastic crates, toys, dog/cat food, flea & tick prevention, to help animals in need! Gently used items are always welcome!

👶 Entry Information

Children under 3 years old and all pets are FREE to enter the event! Rain date is Sunday, April 27th.

⚠️ Important Rules

• Starting Time: Races start at 10 AM sharp (Check-in starts at 8:30 am).
• Course Restrictions: Please stay on course and trails.
• Leash Requirement: Pets must be leashed at all times.
• Building Restrictions: Pets are prohibited in any building on grounds.
• Alcohol Policy: Outside alcohol is prohibited.
• ID Verification: Tickets cannot be sold - you will need to show ID at check-in on the event day.
• No Refunds: Please note, there are no refunds.
