Lucky Paws Animal Assistance Annual “Wag through the Pines” Doggie Walk/Run

🎉 Event Overview

We are excited to announce that Lucky Paws Animal Assistance is hosting its 5th Annual "Wag through the Pines" Doggie Walk/Run to raise funds for the welfare of unwanted, mistreated, and neglected animals. The event will be held at the beautiful White Horse Winery at 106 Hall St., Hammonton, NJ, on Saturday, April 26th, starting at 10 am.

💖 Proceeds

ALL 2025 event proceeds will be donated to our shelter partners in Tennessee:

• Warren County Animal Control: Supporting animal welfare in local areas.
• City of McMinnville AC: Assisting in adoption efforts.
• Wilson County AC: Ensuring animal safety and care.
• Friends of Rhea County: Working towards better animal lives.
• Other partners include Best Friends Sanctuary, Coffee County AC, Macon County AC, Dekalb Animal Shelter and Born Again Rescue & Kennel.

🎶 Event Highlights

• Activities: Music, vendors, a food truck, and games for enjoyment.
• Pet Photos: Capture memories with your pet.
• 21+ Perk: Registration includes a complimentary glass of wine.
• Relaxation: After the race, enjoy the courtyard with your pet.

🐾 Participation Details

• Leash Policy: Pets must be leashed: NO RETRACTABLE leashes allowed.
• Stroller Use: Allowed, most of the race is through vineyards.
• Swag: Register before March 26th for a t-shirt and bandana.
• Crowd Support: Friends, family, and supporters are welcome.

⏰ Event Timing

Please note that if you plan to attend the event, you need to arrive BEFORE 10 am to check in and collect a packet. The event will start promptly at 10 am, and the course will be closed once the 10 am wave is over. The event offers a 1 Mile Walk or 3 Mile Walk/Run through the vineyards. Participants are welcome to run or walk for the 3-mile option, but there won't be a timekeeper.

🌍 Virtual Participation

We understand that some people may want to support our cause but cannot attend the event. We have provided a virtual registration that includes a race bib and swag. You can complete your 1-mile or 3-mile walk/run the week of the event at your location and post pictures on our event page.

🥫 Donation Drive

We will also be collecting donations at this event! Please feel free to bring unopened cat or dog food that will be donated to Kibble Cupboard this year! Please visit them on the web, social media or at their table to see the wonderful local work they do!

👶 Entry Fees

Children under 3 years old and all pets are FREE to enter the event!

🌧️ Rain Date

Rain date is Sunday, April 27th.

• RACES START AT 10 AM SHARP (Check-in starts at 8:30 am)
• PLEASE STAY ON COURSE AND TRAILS
• PETS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES
• PETS ARE PROHIBITED IN ANY BUILDING ON THE GROUNDS
• NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES
• BE RESPECTFUL OF ALL ANIMALS' PERSONAL SPACE
• ALL ANIMALS MUST BE KEPT UNDER CONTROL AND HANDLED BY AN ADULT
• OUTSIDE ALCOHOL IS PROHIBITED
• TICKETS CANNOT BE SOLD - You will need to show ID at check-in on the event day.
• NO REFUNDS
