Welcome to the Lake Stephens Finns Up 5K and Kids Splash Dash hosted by Active Southern West Virginia – a thrilling race experience set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Stephens. Mark your calendars for July 26th, 2025, and get ready to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area while enjoying a family-friendly event filled with excitement and celebration.

🏅 5K Race Details

• Course Start: Starting at the Lake Stephens recreation parking lot area.
• Course Description: The Finns Up 5K takes you on a picturesque journey along a relatively flat out-and-back course.
• Trail Experience: The trail guides you through a wooded trail, offering a perfect balance of challenge and enjoyment.
• Dog Friendly: The race can be run, walked, and accompanied by leashed dogs. Awards will be given to top finishers in each division.

👶 Kids Splash Dash

The Kids Splash Dash is a free non-timed fun run for youth ages 12 and under.

📦 Packet Pick-up

Runners will be able to pick up their packet with their bib number starting at 8 am race day at Lake Stephens beach/splash pad parking lot area pavilion.

After you cross the finish line, the celebration continues with the Lake Stephens Beach Blast presented by Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority starting at 11 am. Experience a day of post-race festivities on the beach, featuring games, prizes, food trucks, and a live DJ!
