Spring Into Wellness Fun Run/Walk - Clarkson College

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: The Clarkson College Student Physical Therapist Assistant Association is hosting an annual fun run/walk.
• Options: Participants complete either a 1-mile walk or a 5K run/walk (3.1 miles).
• Purpose: This event is organized to build community relations while promoting health and wellness.

💖 Supporting a Cause

• Proceeds: Support the Clarkson College Student Physical Therapist Assistant Association.
• Beneficiary: 10% of proceeds will support a recent PTA graduate diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer and MS Forward.

📅 Event Details

• Date: April 5, 2025
• Location: S. 39th and Marcy St. at the Field Club Trail (Do not enter "Field Club Trail" in your GPS).
• Parking: Participants may use the UNMC parking lot (available on weekends) or street parking.
• Check-in: Race packet and t-shirt pick-up from 8:00-8:30 AM at the event.

📝 Registrations

• Adults: $25.00 for 13 years old & up (includes $22.50 registration + $2.50 processing fee).
• Kids: Free for children 12 years & under, but registration is required.
• Deadlines: Register by March 14th to guarantee a t-shirt.
• Online Registrations: Accepted through 8:00 AM on the date of the event.

⏰ Event Timeline

• 8:00-8:30 AM: Check-in
• 8:25 AM: Abby Olberding Makovicka PTA Scholarship Announcement
• 8:30 AM: Race begins
• 10:00 AM: Race ends

🎉 Raffle

• Prizes: Win a 1-year free membership to the YMCA among other prizes!
• Tickets: Raffle tickets may be purchased at the event. Must be present to win.
• Pricing: $3 for 1 ticket, $5 for 2 tickets, and $10 for 5 tickets.

• Bathrooms: Not available on-site. Nearby suggestions include QuikTrip on 715 S Saddlecreek Rd or QuikTrip on 4720 Hamilton St.
