🏃♂️ Purpose
The Clarkson College Student Physical Therapist Assistant Association is hosting an annual fun run/walk. Participants complete either a 1.5K walk (almost 1 mile) or a 5K run/walk (3.1 miles). We host this event every year to promote health and wellness and build community relations. It provides a great opportunity to bring community members and future health care professionals together!
Proceeds support PTA student activities and 10% proceeds will go toward philanthropy.

📝 Registrations
- Price: $20 for 13 years old & up
- Kids: Kids 12 yrs & under can participate for FREE but registration is still required through the sign-up options.
🗓️ Registration Deadlines
- Shirt Guarantee: Register by March 10th to guarantee a t-shirt! Registrations after March 10th will receive a shirt on a first-come first-serve basis.
- Online Registrations: Accepting online registrations now through 7:00am on the date of the event.
📍 Location
- Address: S. 39th and Marcy St. at the Field Club Trail *do not enter "Field Club Trail" in your GPS, it will likely take you to the wrong address.
🚗 Parking
- Options: Street parking available or participants may use the UNMC parking lot (available on weekends) which is located just west of the trail.
🎟️ Check-in
- Packet Pickup: Pick up your race packet and t-shirt from 8:00-8:30 at the event.
⏰ Timeline
- 8-8:30: Check-in
- 8:25: Abby Olberding Makovicka PTA Scholarship Announcement
- 8:30: Race begins
- 10:00: Race ends
🎉 Raffle
- Participation: All participants who donate on the website or in-person at the event will receive raffle tickets for baskets donated by local businesses. Winners will receive their basket after crossing the finish line! Must be present to win.
- Ticket Prices: $3 = 1 ticket
- Ticket Prices: $5 = 2 tickets
- Ticket Prices: $10 = 5 tickets
🚻 Bathrooms
- Location: Not available on-site - suggestions include QuikTrip on 715 S Saddlecreek Rd or QuikTrip on 4720 Hamilton St.
