The Petersburg Half Marathon & 5K is excited to serve as the host race for the 2025 NIRCA Half Marathon National Championship.

• Participants: NIRCA participants will not be included in the race overall awards category, or age group awards for the Petersburg Half Marathon & 5K participants.
• Exciting Alumni Gatherings: We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to witness alumni from colleges and universities across all NCAA divisions come together for this special event.

👟 About NIRCA

The National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA) is the governing body and central point of communication for the college running community.

• Community Goals: The grassroots organization promotes networking and friendly competition amongst collegiate running, cross country, and track clubs.
• Event Coordination: NIRCA coordinates many events, including a fall cross country season, Cross Country Championship Series, Road and Track Nationals, and all-club conferences.
