The Mississippi Blues Marathon event starts and finishes at the Mississippi State Capitol Green Space next to the Mississippi Supreme Court. Join us for a wonderful event from the MS State Capitol and help us celebrate this Musical Tour of Jackson, Mississippi. #RunTheBlues

🎽 Each Registered Athlete Receives:

• Long Sleeve Quarter Zip Shirt: Our Long Sleeve Quarter Zip Shirts are back this year! (Registered Marathon Runners ONLY) Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Marathon Relay Teams will receive high quality long sleeve technical shirts.
• Finisher Medal: All registered participants will receive a finisher medal.
• Commemorative Mississippi Blues Tote: A unique tote to celebrate your achievement.
• Complimentary Food & Drinks: Plates of Jambalaya, Fresh Fruit, Snacks and plenty of bottled water, soft drinks, and Beer for athletes over the age of 21.

People say the blues was born in Mississippi, traveled to Memphis in its youth and grew up in Chicago, but the truth is – the blues never left home. If you’ve never heard the Mississippi blues, you’ve never heard the real thing. The unique Mississippi art form of the blues has long been recognized as the foundation for many of today’s musical styles.

The B. B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center is located in Indianola, Mississippi on US Highway 82 between Greenwood and Greenville.
