Costume Encouragement

• Racer Attire: Participants are encouraged to dress up in costumes to honor their heroes.
• Kid Participation: Kids can dress as their favorite heroes, whether fictional or real.
• Creative Options: Heroes could be firefighters, superman, or Chase from Paw Patrol!
• Community Spirit: Celebrate and recognize local heroes in your costumes.

Event Activities

• Recognition: Local heroes will be recognized at the East Andover Fire Station.
• Touch a Truck: An event featuring a fire truck and police cruiser for close-up viewing.
• Race Types: 5K walk/run, 1-mile run for kids aged 6 to 10, and a fun run for kids aged 5 and under.
• Post-Race Fun: Activities for kids after completing the 1-mile race and fun run.

Race Schedule

• Packet Pickup: Begin arriving at 9:00 A.M. for bib and t-shirt collection.
• Fun Run Start: Kids fun run around 9:15 A.M.
• 1-Mile Race: Kids 1-mile race to follow the fun run.
• 5K Start: Official start of the 5K at 9:30 A.M.

Race Course

• Start Point: The race begins on the Northern Rail Trail in front of the East Andover fire station.
• Course Route: Runners will proceed down the rail trail towards Agony Hill Rd.
• Course Turn: A slight right onto Agony Hill Rd, then a cut through a wooded clearing back to the rail trail.
• Finish Line: Follow the trail back to the finish line.
