Kaylan's Warrior Fun Run

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

Kaylan's Warrior Fun Run is held in honor of Kaylan Haywood. She was diagnosed with DIPG (Diffused Intrusive Pontine Glioma) a brain tumor in the brain stem. She was an active, fun loving, caring 11 yr old full of life. Her wish was for our Ohana to be there for other Ohana's affected by DIPG and Childhood Brain Cancer. So we founded Kaylan Strong's Fight Like A Warrior Foundation to help Ohana's here in Hawaii.

💰 Fundraising Purpose

• Objective: This event is here to raise money for these Ohana's to help financially through the hardest time in their life.
• Research Support: Funds raised will also help find a cure for DIPG and Childhood Brain Cancer.

📆 Race Date and Locations

• Date: May 1, 2025
• Oahu Participants: May 11th at Kapapapuhi Point Park in (West Lock) Ewa Beach at 9 am.
• Virtual Run: Participate anywhere around the world from May 1st thru 31st.
• Big Island Option: Sign up for the Virtual run to receive a shirt: participate in person at Old Airport in Kailua-Kona.

📸 Participation and Sharing

We ask that you please send us photos of you and whoever joins you and where you are participating at. We would love to share how many people around the world are joining us in our fight to help Ohana's here in Hawaii with DIPG and Childhood Brain Cancer and also help find a cure for DIPG.
