- Memory of Derek Dobagi: Honoring a dedicated individual who sacrificed his life
- Career Highlights: Graduated Magna Cum Laude, active duty commission as a second lieutenant
- Service Record: Deployed to Iraq as Brigade Scout Platoon Leader
- Event Legacy: Memorial 5K Race established to honor Derek since 2009

- Legacy: Struggled with civilian transition post-service

🕒 Race Day Schedule
- 5:30 AM: Onsite registration opens (ends 10 minutes before each race start)
- 6:30 AM: Brandon Michael Memorial 1/2 Marathon Ruck March START
- 6:45 AM: Opening Ceremony
- 7:00 AM: Half Marathon START
