• Purpose: Run for fun and benefits: Your health (exercise), Healing Hearts for Ashley Foundation (fundraising) and maybe your wallet (awards).
• Registration: Registration is required and includes: t-shirt, refreshments, and entertainment.
• Categories: This 5K, 10K, Double, and Fun Run is open to all ages using CARA age categories for awards.

❤️ BENEFITING CHARITY

• Partnership: The Western Springs Tower Trot will be partnering again with the Healing Hearts for Ashley Foundation.
• Honoring Ashley: Ashley Jurjovec, a former Western Springs middle school teacher, passed away suddenly from a genetic heart condition called Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC) in May 2016.
• Foundation Mission: The Healing Hearts for Ashley Foundation was founded in honor and memory of Ashley Jurjovec in 2017, committed to raising awareness for ARVC.
• Support Research: They support research for The Cardiovascular Genetics Group at Lurie Children’s Hospital as they work to improve clinical and genetic assessment.

📅 RACE AGENDA

• Date: Saturday, May 24, 2025
• Start Times:
  • 8:30 a.m.—10K (6.2 miles) and The Double Run (10K and 5K)
  • 8:45 a.m.—Fun Run (<: a mile)
  • 9:30 a.m.—5K (3.1 miles)
• Location: Start/Finish at Grand Avenue Community Center | 4211 Grand Ave, Western Springs
  Fun Run Start is at Chestnut and Grand, Fun Run Finish is at the official Finish Line on Lawn.
• Post Race: Water, Gatorade, and refreshments will be provided for all runners. The Hearts for Ashley Foundation will present winners of the raffle.

📝 REGISTRATION

• Online Registration: Online registration is available until 15 minutes prior to Start time. Race prices increase $5 on Monday, May 12, 2025.
• Race Packet Pickup: Prior to race day, numbers, t-shirts and information can be picked up at the Grand Avenue Community Center.
• Pickup Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM | Friday, May 23, 2025
• Race Day: On race day, race packets will only be available at Grand Avenue Community Center. Doors open at 7:00 AM.

💵 CATEGORIES AND ENTRY FEES

• Pre-Registration Fees:
  • 5K Walk - $35 Resident/$40 Non-Resident
  • 5K Run - $35 Resident/$40 Non-Resident
  • 10K - $40 Resident/$45 Non-Resident
  • The Double (5K & 10K) - $45 Resident/$45 Non-Resident
  • 14 and under for all races - $25 Resident/$30 Non-Resident
  • Fun Run - $15 Resident/$15 Non-Resident
• Late Registration: Add $5 to the fees above after May 11, 2025.
