Join in the Thanksgiving holiday fun with your friends at the Waynesboro Family YMCA on Thanksgiving morning. For more than 60 years, Waynesboro Family YMCA has continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of our community. At every opportunity, we've shifted our programs & our focus so the Y can continue to do what we do best: stand as an ally & a leader in community action & support. ⏰ Start Times

• 8:15am: Gobbler 1 Mile (Kids event ages 3-10)
• 9:00am: 5k Run & Walk START
• VIRTUAL 5k: RACE ANYWHERE / ANYTIME - NOVEMBER 28th THRU December 1st
• ONLINE ENTRY Fee: Deadlines: NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION / or packet pickup

• Gobbler 1 Mile: $20 (thru Dec. 31, 2023) || $25 (Jan. 1, 2024 - Nov. 27, 2024) || NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR PACKET PICKUP
• 5k Run & Walk: $25 (thru Dec. 31, 2023) || $30 (Jan. 1, 2024 - Nov. 17, 2024) || $35 (Nov. 18, 2024 - Nov. 27, 2024) || NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION OR PACKET PICKUP
• VIRTUAL 5K: $25 (thru Dec. 31, 2023) || $30 (Jan. 1, 2024 - Nov. 17, 2024) || $35 (Nov. 18, 2024 - Nov. 26, 2024)
• Note: Registration fees are non-transferable & non-refundable.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Pricing

Save $2.00 per entry when registering a family of 4-6 participants. Please select this option when registering. Available for all events thru Sunday, November 17th.

👕 T-Shirts

Participants registered on or before Sunday November 17, 2024 are guaranteed a race shirt. A limited number of extra shirts will be available on a first-come basis at packet pickup.

📦 Packet Pickup

• No Race Day: Packet pickup
• Date: Tuesday November 26th, 3-7pm
• Date: Wednesday November 27th, 3-7pm
• Race Day: November 28th, NO PACKET PICKUP / NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION

📬 Packet Mailing

We are happy to mail packets to our Virtual 5k participants only. There is an additional fee of $15.00. This mailing option can be selected during registration and is available to those virtual 5k participants registered by Friday, November 15th.

🐕 Strollers, Dogs & Pets

We respectfully ask that for the safety of the event that pets and strollers line up in the back of the start.

💧 Hydration

Refreshments are available at the finish of each event. There is not a water stop on course.

⏱️ Timing & Results

All events will be timed for place. The 5k run and walk will use MyLaps disposable bib tag timing. This tag can be found on the back of your bib number.

🏅 Awards

• Gobble Wobble 1 Mile: finishers receive a FINISHER MEDAL.
• 5K Awards: Top 3 Overall Male and Female, Top Master Male and Female, and top 5 in each age group (Medal to first place and ribbons 2nd -5th).
• Overall Award Ceremony: Awards will not be mailed.
• Stuffed Turkey: awarded to our top Overall Boy and Girl in Gobble Wobble 1 Mile.

🌍 Virtual 5k Results

• Complete: YOUR EVENT, anywhere in the world, Thursday November 28th thru Sunday December 1st.
• Upload: YOUR RESULTS.
• Receive: A FINISHER MEDAL!

🔢 Race Numbers

RACE NUMBERS SHOULD BE WORN ON THE FRONT OF YOUR SHIRT OR JACKET AND VISIBLE THROUGHOUT THE EVENT.
