Race day is on! See you Sunday May 4th at Potlatch Park for the start and finish!! Due to the construction in town and the Wolfe Pt. bypass, our route has changed drastically - check out the new map and contact KRC with any questions.

🗺️ Race Course Details

• Starting Point: Potlatch Park
• Route: Heading north on Tongass Highway
• Loops: Two loops at Pond Reef Rd and Knudson Cove Road
• Finish Line: Return to Potlatch Park crossing the highway twice

🌲 Scenic Views

The race takes runners along beautiful vistas with tree-covered mountains along the Tongass Highway, where runners can expect to see local wildlife as well as boats streaming along the water in the narrows all along the race route.

👟 Participation Information

• Open To: Runners and walkers
• Field Size: Typically between 100 and 200 participants
• Aid Stations: Available until 2:30 pm
• Time Limit: 5.5 hours to complete 13.1 miles (approx. 24 minute mile pace)
