Tomato Trot 5k

🍅 7th Annual Tomato Trot

Join us for the community run/walk benefiting local organizations making a difference in the Susquehanna Valley. This year, all proceeds will support WGRC Christian Radio Station and Salt and Light Ministries. WGRC provides uplifting radio programming with Contemporary Christian Music and short programs that foster spiritual growth and help build stronger connections within the community and families.

🏁 Race Details

• Date: 2025-05-10
• Location: Parking lot of the Furmano Foods plant, 770 Cannery Road, Northumberland, PA (GPS Address: please use 815 Cannery Road)
• Timing: The 5K will be chip-timed by Falcon Race Timing.
• Weather: This is a rain or shine event, so come prepared!

👨‍👩‍👧 Family Friendly Fun

This family-friendly event is perfect for people of all ages and abilities. Fun activities for kids will be available during the 5K race. Can YOU beat the Tomato? Participants will have the chance to race against our running Tomato for bragging rights!

👕 Registration and T-shirts

Pre-register early to receive a free event t-shirt if you register by April 12! Some t-shirts will also be available for purchase at the event.

🏆 Awards and Activities

• Prizes: Cash prize awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers (male and female).
• Kids' Fun Run: The Kids’ Fun Run will occur following the 5K and is free to all kids who would like to participate.
• Course: Out and back course in scenic rolling countryside. Refreshments will be available after the race for all participants.

• 10:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk Start
• 10:50 AM: Kids’ Fun Run Start
• 11:00 AM: Awards Ceremony
