Titletown Turkey Trot, Presented by Bodner Roofing

🦃 Titletown Turkey Trot Overview

We hope that you will join us at Boyle County High School on Thanksgiving morning, November 27th, 2025 at 8:00am for the LARGEST RACE IN DANVILLE KY, the 4th Annual Titletown Turkey Trot in memory of Deangelo Durham. This will be a competitive event but also family friendly event and runners, walkers, kids, strollers and pets are all welcome and encouraged to join us! If you have someone that isn't running we will have plenty to do for spectators as well. Bring the whole family!

🏃‍♂️ Events

• Event One: 1 mile Gobble Wobble geared toward those that want to hang out and take it easy and have a nice short walk or jog.
• Event Two: 5K which will be chip timed by Race Rise and will have awards for overall and age groups.
• Included: All participants will receive a Titletown Turkey Trot branded long sleeve shirt and a commemorative finishers medal.
• 2024 Recap: This event was a huge success in 2024 with over 325 runners and we can't wait to make it even bigger for 2025.

🎉 Activities and Community Support

We will have a food/coffee truck, a bounce house(weather permitting), games and free popcorn and cotton candy! This event is a fun way for the community to support the family of Deangelo Durham through a scholarship program for his two children. If you didn't have the pleasure of knowing Deangelo (Dee), he was a wonderful person in the Danville community who will never be forgotten and he passed away way too early at the age of 38. Dee passed away Friday November 22nd, 2024, just days before the 3rd annual Titletown Turkey Trot. We have since named this race in his memory and will support his family moving forward.

• Course: Closed course on paved trail surfaces starting on the awesome turf field of Boyle County High School and wandering through beautiful Millennium Park.
• Shirt: New this year Titletown long sleeve shirt.
• Medal: Commemorative finishers medal.
• Timing: Chip timed 5K run/walk with overall and age group awards.

🚗 Parking

Parking will be at Boyle County High School, 1637 Perryville Road, Danville, KY 40422.

📦 Packet Pick-Up/Late Registrations

• Wednesday: November 26th from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Danville Bike and Footwear 417 W Main St, Danville, KY 40422.
• Thursday: November 27th beginning at 7:00am at Boyle County High School Rebel Stadium.

🏁 Start and Finish

The start and finish lines will be in the same location on the Boyle County High School Football Field.

🥇 Awards

Awards ceremony will take place at 9:00am. Top 3 Male and Female overall winners and age group winners will receive a Gold, Silver or Bronze Apex Promoz Winners medal.

Age group awards (Top 3 M/F in each age group): 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+.
