Personal Best Racing is bringing you the Bowling Green Sprint Triathlon at the Preston Miller Park! Come celebrate the sport of triathlon with us by participating in the sprint triathlon that captures the areas beauty and industry!
🏊 Swim Details
- Distance: 400 Meters in the Russel Sim aquatic center
- Lanes: 50 meter lanes to stretch out and build your speed!
🚴 Bike Course
- Distance: ~14 miles
- Route: From park left onto Veterans Blvd, traversing through some neighborhood roadways
- Loop: Making a loop and coming back to the park via Veterans.
🏃 Run Course
- Distance: ~5k starting in the park
- Path: Clockwise around one mile paved path that circles the park
- Finish: Thru wooded gravel path, finishing up at the checkerboard finish line!
👕 Participant Perks
- T-shirt: Each participant will get a shirt with their registration
- Finishers Gift: A special gift for all finishers.
🏆 Awards
- Overall Awards: Top 3 male and female overall, and top masters male and female overall
- Age Group Awards: Top 3 in age groups: 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
📜 Sanctioning and Membership
This event is USA Triathlon Sanctioned and each participant will be required to have a USAT Annual Membership, available for one day purchase through registration.
👶 Kids Triathlon
There is a kids event that will be taking place at 9:30am following the adult event. The kids event will consist of a 50 meter swim, a 3 mile bike and a 1 mile run. The kids courses are being redeveloped as we work with the city officials for the safest course!
