About this race
Race Overview
Join us as we run it back to the 80’s for Strides for Life 5K’s 10th anniversary! Strides for Life aims to strengthen support, education and recognition of organ, eye and tissue donation in west central Ohio. We aim to stomp out the waiting list one stride at a time, and we honor those who gave the gift of life every step of the way.
Event Details
- Organizer: Life Connection of Ohio, Solvita and Lions Eye Bank of West Central Ohio.
- Format: In-person 5K run/walk, virtual 5K run/walk, and a Kids' Fun Run.
Awards
Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners and the top 3 males/females in each category:
- Categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 plus.
Giveaways
- T-shirt: Port & Co. Crystal Tie-Dye T-shirt.
- Additional Giveaways: Fanny pack and finisher dog tag.
- Kids' Fun Run: There will also be a giveaway for the Kids' Fun Run.

Packet pickup will be held on Wednesday, April 22, and Thursday, April 23, from 10 AM – 2 PM and 4 PM – 7 PM at:
