🌼 Course Description

• Scenic Trails: The race is held on the beautiful Spring Creek trail with wildflowers and Aspen trees next to bubbling Spring Creek.
• 9.5 Mile Course: This course runs on an up and down scenic loop on primitive trail, two track, single track and briefly on forest service road.
• Elevation Gain: It gains ~1,750 ft. in the first 4 miles, with most of that being from mile 2-4.
• Challenging Terrain: This section takes runners up unimproved rocky and narrow single track and over several large downed trees before descending on a smooth rolling downhill trail.

🥗 Event Features

• 5K Option: The 5K race is an out and back on the beautiful Spring Creek trail on rolling two track and single track.
• Post-Race Meal: Enjoy an even better post-race meal made by Freshies.
• Prize Drawing: Come out for a great day of running and participate in a prize drawing.

🕊️ Memorial Purpose

• In Memory: This race is held in memory of Patty Brenner Hagberg.
• Tragic Incident: She was struck and killed by a truck along the lower part of the trail in 1991.
• Message: This race should remind all of us of the importance of sharing multi-purpose use trails.
