Join us at all our events in 2025 in the following cities: Mount Pleasant (SC), South Charlotte (NC), Chapel Hill (NC), Summerville (SC), Huntersville (NC), and Winterville (NC).
200 YARD SWIM β 8 MILE BIKE β 2 MILE RUN
Your event kicks off with a 200 yard swim in the indoor pool of the Harris YMCA. Swimmers will be self-seeded according to the swim ability chart. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with lining up for the swim. You will be provided with a swim cap if you choose to wear it. After the swim, you'll experience the exhilaration of exiting the pool to the sound of cheers as you make your way to the transition area.
The bike is 8 miles on a 2-loop course. The bike course showcases the beautiful South Park area of Charlotte. It begins with a nice downhill section on Quail Hollow Road. The bike course has 5 major right-hand turns and includes Gleneagles Rd, Park Rd, and Sharon Rd.
The majority of the run course keeps runners on the YMCA campus and close to the spectators. Itβs an out-and-back course that includes quiet neighborhood roads. The great thing is that youβll be able to share the energy with your fellow athletes as you approach the finish line!
Swim and run only (no bike portion). The biking element is removed and the distances can be great for daughters to participate with mom, aunt, or grandma!
Celebrate with your family and friends and take in your accomplishment!
Virtual Triathlon and Virtual Aquathlon: Complete the distance anywhere anytime on June 22. Virtual participants can upload their times, but they will not be included in awards. A finisher certificate will be available for download. All virtual participants may choose to pick up their packets locally or they will be mailed in mid-June. Times should be submitted by 11:59 pm on June 22.
The mission of She Tris is to create a welcoming and supportive triathlon environment for women and girls who want to complete a triathlon, regardless of their level of experience. By tackling the challenge of triathlon, we believe our participants will feel empowered to take on other challenges in life, be it personal or professional, and that the impact of She Tris will reach beyond the finish line into the lives of these women and those they influence along the way.
She Tris requires youth participants to be a minimum of 10 years of age on 12/31/25.
