🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Running=Freedom. Come celebrate your freedom with the San Antonio RoadRunners for our traditional 4-Miler on the 4th of July. Wear your best Red, White, and Blue for the Freedom Day 4-Miler, 2-Miler, and Li’l Firecrackers Kids Run.

We have the virtual option if you cannot attend the live race. You can have your packet shipped (at extra cost) or you can pick up at in-person packet pick up (no extra cost)

🏅 In-Person Race Details

Chip-timing: Freedom Day 4-Miler will be chip-timed and awards will be given for overall and 5-year age groups
Fun Run/Walk: 2-Miler is a fun run/walk and is not chip-timed.
Costume Contest: Dress in your best RED, WHITE and BLUE!!!
Shirt Availability: Shirts in adult and youth sizes available until sold out. We recommend registering by 6/1/25 to guarantee your shirt size.
Finisher Medals: Finisher medals for all
Post-Race Food: Post-race food and refreshments

💻 Virtual Race Details

Run Your Way: The Virtual Freedom Day 4-Miler and 2-Miler are races that you can run or walk from any location and route.
Results Submission: Signup, download and print your race bib, complete the 4-Miler or 2-Miler and submit your results.
Finisher's Certificate: When you submit your time, you will also be able to download, print and/or share your Finisher's Certificate.
Completion Window: Complete your race and submit your results between: July 4, 2025, 12:00am- July 25, 2025, 11:59pm
Shirt Options: Mens or womens tech shirt. Youth sizes will be limited.
Finishers Medal: Finisher medal
Packet Pickup: PACKETS ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY SHIPPED. PICK UP PACKET AT THE PRE-RACE PACKET PICK UP FOR FREE OR ADD-ON SHIPPING AT REGISTRATION TO HAVE YOUR PACKET MAILED.

📦 Packet Pickup Information

Pre-Race Pickup: Highly recommended to pick up your packet before race day.
Race Day Pickup: Race Day packet pick up, Comanche Park 2600 Rigsby Ave, San Antonio, TX 78222, 6:00AM-7:30AM (for Live Event participants only)

7:00 AM: Li'l Firecrackers Kids Run
7:15 AM: 4-Miler Starts
7:20 AM: 2-Miler Starts
8:15 AM: 4-Miler Awards

🏆 Awards Information

AWARDS: We will be handing out awards for the 4-Miler only. Overall and age group awards in 5-year increments for the top 3. Must pick up award on race day. Check results before you leave, and have a friend pick up for you if you cannot stay for the ceremony.

Runners age 24 or younger and age 70+ get a 50% discount on the 4-Miler with online registration thru 6/1/25 (no other discounts apply).
