Route 66 10K

Race Overview

Hosted by the Metro Milers running club, the Route 66 10K features as part of the City of Edwardsville's Route 66 Festival. The festival and race are held in Edwardsville's City Park on the same Saturday as the festival every year in June.

Age group awards (in 5-year bins) will be awarded to in-person participants, and all registrants will receive a high-quality technical shirt and finisher swag item.

• Capacity: Registration may close due to limits
• Weather: Organizers can delay or cancel due to severe conditions
• Prohibitions: Pets, strollers, bikes, and other non-official vehicles are not allowed
• No Refunds: All registrations are final

Packet Pick-Up

Registered participants are required to pick up their packet before the start of the race. Your packet includes your race bib and timing chip. If you're unable to attend packet pick-up, someone may pick up your packet on your behalf.

• Friday: Noon - 6:00 PM, Location TBD
• Saturday: 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM, at City Park
• Metro Milers Tent: At the park grounds
• Note: Packets are required before race start

Schedule of Events

• 6:30 AM: Packet pick-up opens
• 7:45 AM: Packet pick-up closes
• 8:00 AM: Race start
• 10:00 AM: Awards ceremony at the park bandstand

Bib Transfers

Allowing a non-registered runner to use your bib is NOT PERMITTED.

• Waiver: Non-registered runners will not have signed a waiver
• Insurance: Race insurance covers only registered runners
• Consequences: No bib sharing allowed

Water Stations

Hydration stops will be placed along the race route (indicated on the course map) and will have water and Gatorade available.

Timing & Results

This race will use bib tag timing. Your timing chip will be affixed to the back side of your bib number. Please do not remove your timing chip.

Live race day results provided by Final Lap Racing.

Awards

Awards will be given to top three finishers in the following group categories for in-person participants only:

• Overall: Top three finishers
• Age Categories: 14 and younger, 15-19, 20-24, etc.
• Masters: 40+
• Senior Categories: 70+
