PVFD Cheat River Triathlon

🏊‍♂️ The 5th Annual Parsons VFD Cheat River Triathlon

The event will be on May 17, 2025. 

🏁 Race Course

• Starting Point: Mill Race Park in Parsons
• Run: 3.9 miles to Hendricks Park
• Kayaking/Canoeing: 3+ miles back to Mill Race Park
• Biking: 7-mile ride to Hendricks Park and back to Mill Race Park

🚶‍♀️ 2K Walk

The 2K Walk will be held within the walking track of Mill Race Park. It will utilize the same start and finish line as the Triathlon and 5K Run.

🏃‍♀️ 5K Run

The 5K Run will start at the same start/finish line as the 2K Walk and the Triathlon. It will follow a small portion of the Triathlon track and then turn right into the Nursery Bottom:

• Trail: You will make one full lap on a paved and grass-covered trail.
• Finish: Returning to the start/finish line at Mill Race Park.

🚒 Event Purpose

ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE PARSONS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT.

Safety Equipment: PFDs (Life Jackets), helmets, and whistles are required on the river. Bicycle helmets are required on the bike portion of the event.
