• Location: The start/finish line will be located across from picnic area 5.
• Parking: Parking is available in picnic areas 2, 3, 4 or in the field north of the start line.

This lighthearted, no-pressure event is perfect for runners, walkers, and everyone in between. It's a chance to finally check "go for a run" off your to-do list—no more excuses!

What is rucking?

Rucking is a physical activity that involves walking or hiking with a weighted backpack (called a rucksack). The term comes from the military, where soldiers train and operate carrying heavy loads over long distances. In civilian fitness and recreation, rucking is gaining popularity as a versatile and low-impact workout. We now offer it at all Wisconsin Trail Assail Events!
