Moonlight Bootlegger 5k - Greensboro, NC

🌙 Event Overview

When we first started doing this event, we thought it was cool, but we were not sure anyone else was going to show up! Since then hundreds of people have enjoyed the amazing tea-light lit night trails, awesome bluegrass music, and refreshing cocktails at the Greensboro Moonlight Bootlegger being held at Haw River State Park in 2025!

🌲 The Experience

Just like our bootleggin’ ancestors, see if you can make it through the moonlit woods to get to the stompin’ grounds, where you can enjoy moonshine and flatfoot it to the bluegrass music blaring through the speakers.

🕯️ Race Details

• Date: 2025-07-12
• Location: 6068 N Church St, Greensboro, NC
• Trail: The trails at Haw River State Park are rolling and lightly rooted.
• Lighting: There will be at least 300 tea light candles lighting your path towards your cocktail/mocktail!

💡 Important Note

For those new to Bootleggin', this race takes place after dark. Athletes must have a headlamp or flashlight.
