Miles for Minds 5K is a family friendly event that is fun for all ages. Whether you are looking to participate in your first 5K or you are a seasoned runner, our USATF sanctioned, timed race is appropriate for all skill levels. However, if you are looking for a lighter pace, there is also a one mile Walk & Roll Fun Run around Roosevelt Park's lake prior to the start of the official 5K race.

💵 Registration Information

• Pre-Registration: $30: This registration type is for runners who would like to compete in the USATF certified and timed 5K. Includes official runner bib, t-shirt, and refreshments.
• Registration after July 21st: $35
• Walk & Roll Fun Run Registration: $20: This registration type is for walkers, rollers and attendees looking to participate in the 1 mile fun run. Includes t-shirt and refreshments.
• Race Day Registration: You can also register in person on race day from 7:30 am - 9:00 am.

📣 Sponsorship Opportunities

Proceeds of the event will support the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute at JFK University Medical Center. From our world renowned Center for Brain Injuries to life-saving programs such as Stroke and Cardiac Rehabilitation, funds raised will be used to advance patient care across our full spectrum of rehabilitation services by helping to support equipment, research, staff training and facility upgrades. 📅 Race Day Schedule

7:30 A.M. - On-site registration opens
8:30 A.M. - Walk & Roll Fun Run begins
9:00 A.M. - 5K race begins
Awards Ceremony to immediately follow race finish.

Top 3 Male & Female in each of the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

📋 Miscellaneous

• Race scoring and timing provided by CompuScore.
• USATF Certified Course and Sanctioned Race Course Description: Park loop on roads. Scenic, wooded, shaded and lakeside.
• Course traffic controlled and marshaled. Emergency medical technicians on-site.
• Baby strollers, bicycles, pets, skates, and roller blades are prohibited in the 5K race.
• Water will be available at the start, on the course and at the finish.
