Marauder Trotter 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

We are excited to announce that the 11th Annual Marauder Trotter 5k Run/Walk will be held on July 5, 2025 at 9 a.m. at Wright Park in Dunkirk, New York.

🎓 Purpose of the Race

• Race proceeds: will support the DHS Class of 1989 Memorial Scholarship Fund (managed by NCCF) in honor of their deceased classmates.
• In Memoriam: Paula Kuschel, Jennifer Styborski, Jody Wdowiasz, Michael Koch, Robert Pierce, James Kulpa, and others.

📍 Race Location

• Start/End: Wright Park, 1 Wright Park Dr., Dunkirk, NY 14048
• 5K Course: The course will cover the Dunkirk Lakefront between Wright Park and Memorial Park.

👥 Categories/Age

• Participants: Male and Female
• Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, & 70 & Older

💲 Cost

• Adult: $25.00
• Student: $30.00

🏆 Awards

• Cash Awards: $100.00 to the top male and female first place run finishers
• Awards: Overall first place Male and Female winners in the run and top 3 finishers in the age group in the walk and the run.

👕 T-shirts

• Free T-shirts: Will come with your race registration if you register by June 28, 2025.

📝 Registration

• T-shirt Deadline: Please register by June 28, 2024.
• Online registration: Closes July 5, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
• Day of Race Registration: 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. - $30 (no t-shirt)

📦 Early Race Packet Pick Up

• Date: Friday, July 6, 2024
• Time: 5:00 to 7:00 PM
• Location: Wright Park Tent (located by Beach House Grille)

• Start: Begins at Wright Park.
• Course: Follow Lake Front BLVD, enter path that goes by the waterfront.
• Route Details: Around the pier, loop around Memorial Park, and return path to finish.
