Organizer: The Jefferson Healthcare Rhody Run is organized and produced by the Port Townsend Marathon Association, a charitable non-profit organization.
Mission: Their mission is to foster and encourage runners of all ages, both in the school system and in the community.
Volunteers: Nearly all the work that goes into making this race happen is done by volunteers.
Community Support: Proceeds from the race are returned to the community in the form of funding support for school sports programs and youth-oriented non-profit organizations.

๐ Awards and Recognition
Medals: Port Townsend Foundry crafted medals awarded to the top 3 10k women/men in USATF standard 5 year age groups.
Championship Designation: This yearโs event has been designated by Pacific Northwest Track & Field as a road championship for members of the Pacific Northwest Association of USATF.
Eligibility: A runner must be a PNTF/USATF member prior to race day to be eligible for championship prize money and other championship awards.
Prize Money: $300, $200, and $100 will be awarded to the top 3 PNTF/USATF finishers in the Open division who finish in the top 5 of the overall event.
Masters Awards: $100 will be awarded to the first PNTF/USATF member in each 5-year division 40+ who places in the top 5 of the eventโs Masters divisions.
