- Date: 2025-02-22
- Location: Olander Park, Sylvania, OH
- Start Time: 9am
- Event Options: Hot Cocoa 10K, 5K, 1 Mile Race or Walk, Kids Fun Run
🏞️ Race Course Information
The 1 Mile Race or Walk will be a loop around Olander Lake.
- 1 Mile: Timed race for kids and adults, will stay in Olander Park.
- 5K Course: Begins at Nederhouser Community Building, running south and crossing Sylvania Ave.
- 10K Course: Follows the 5K course and continues onto the University Parks trail.
- Open Course: Courses are open to traffic: maps will be provided online and at packet pick-up.
💖 Community Impact
Proceeds will benefit youth programs that promote positive, healthy lifestyle choices and prevention of at-risk behaviors.
- Programs: Sylvania Prevention Alliance offers guidance and education.
- Events: Sponsorship of positive events to develop leadership and team building skills.
- Awards: Age group awards will be distributed post-race.
- Refreshments: Hot cocoa and grab-and-go snacks will be available after the race.
⚠️ Important Reminders
- Shirt Guarantee: No guarantee after February 4th.
- Early Bird Pricing: Ends on February 4th!
- Packet Pick Up: February 19th from 4:00pm - 6:30pm at Dave's Running Shop, and February 21st at the Nederhouser.
- Race Day Pick-Up: Limited availability for those living more than 30 minutes away.
