The Hickory Foundation YMCA is excited to announce that we will celebrate the 24th Annual Hickory Turkey Trot 5K &: 10K on Saturday - November 23rd, 2024. Proceeds from this race help the Y carry out its Mission to provide programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body to make Hickory a stronger community. Your race entry fee and generous Donations will help to continue this support in our community.

🕒 Important Dates & Times

• Packet Pickup & On-Site Registration:
  • Team Only Packet Pickup: Thursday, November 21st, 12:00pm - 1:30pm &: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Individual Runner Packet Pickup: Friday, November 22nd, 12:00pm - 1:30pm, 4:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup: 7:00am - 9:00am
• Race Start Times:
  • Youth Fun Run Start Time: 8:30am
  • 10K Start Time: 9:00am
  • 5K Start Time: 9:03am
  • Awards Ceremony: 11:00am
• T-Shirt Registration: Register by November 8th to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

👶 Youth Fun Run

Kids, ages 12 &: Under The course will take place in the field behind the Hickory Foundation YMCA. The Kids’ Fun Run begins at 8:30. Parents are welcome to join! Bring on the little Turkeys.

💵 Entry Fees

• 5K &: 10K Entry Fee:
  • July 8 - September 1 => $30/$35
  • September 2 - November 12 => $35/$40
  • November 13 - Race Day => $45/$50
• Youth Fun Run Entry Fee: August 1 - Race Day => $15
• Corporate Team Members: Please contact your Team Manager for Registration Details.

ALL FINISHERS who register before November 8th will receive a custom t-shirt!

🏆 Age Groups & Awards

• Overall Winners: Top Male &: Female receive a month YMCA membership, a frozen turkey, and a trophy.
• Top Three Finishers: Custom Pint Glass for ages 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, *70+
• Medals: Top Three Male &: Female finishers in ages 9 &: Under, 10-14, 15-19 will receive a medal.

🦃 Phantom 5K & 10K

This “Do It Yourself” event allows participants to run or walk at any time and any location that is convenient and safe for you and your families. Run a local 5K or 10K route, around the block, on trails, or even on a treadmill. Must register by November 8th to receive a race t-shirt.
