Hell Hole Gator Run 5K & 10K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: The Hell Hole Gator Run is the oldest 10K race in the South Carolina Low Country.
• Year: This is the 47th year for Hell Hole Gator Trot.
• Location: Starting and finishing in Jamestown, SC.
• Affiliation: The Gator Run is affiliated with the world famous Hell Hole Swamp Festival.

📅 Race Details

• 10K Start Time: 8:00 AM.
• 5K Start Time: 8:00 AM.
• Course Changes: The 10K will revert back to the original course, and the 5K will start at the 5K mark of the 10K in the woods.
• New Routes: 10K course starts on French Santee Rd: 5K starts on the corner of Simmons Rd & Tiger Corner Rd.

🏆 Awards

• Winners: Overall male & female, masters and grand masters winners get to ride in the parade that will start right after the awards ceremony.
• Trophies: Large gator-head trophies for M/F overall, masters, and grand masters divisions.
• Age Group: Smaller gator-head trophies for age group winners (males and females) ages 10-19 through 75-99.
• Location: Awards ceremony takes place after the race at Jamestown City Hall.

📍 Additional Information

• Packet Pick-Up: Early packet pick-up will be May 3rd at Blue Sky Endurance, 725 Coleman Blvd. #116, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 from 3 PM - 6 PM.
• Race Day Pick-Up: May 4th at Jamestown City Hall, 7601 Hwy 41, Jamestown, SC 29453 from 6:30 AM - 7:45 AM.
• Parking: Available at Hell Hole Inc, 116 Steel Shed Lane, Jamestown, SC 29453.
• ID Requirement: Please bring your ID for packet pick-up.

🔄 Course Description

• 10K Route: Starts on Jamestown City, takes a right on French Santee Rd, straight, right onto Simmons Rd, right on Tiger Corner Rd, and right on Hwy 41 back to the start.
• 5K Route: Starts at the 5K mark of the 10K: runners will be shuttled to the start.
• Completion: Runners will complete the last 5K of the 10K course.
• Safety: Ensure to follow course markings during the race.
