Hell Hole Gator Run 5K & 10K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Hell Hole Gator Run is the oldest 10K race in the South Carolina Low Country. This is the 48th year for Hell Hole Gator Trot. The Gator Run is now a 10K & 5K starting and finishing in Jamestown, SC. The 10K course is back to the old route of start on French Santee Rd then turn right onto Simmons Rd then right onto Tiger Corner Rd then right onto Hwy 41 to the finish line. The 5K has a new route that will start on the corner of Simmons Rd & Tiger Corner Rd you will make a right onto Hwy 41 to the finish line. The Gator Run is affiliated with the world famous Hell Hole Swamp Festival.

⏰ Race Schedule

• 10K Start Time: 8:00 AM
• 5K Start Time: 8:00 AM
• Course Note: The 10K will revert back to the original course.
• 5K Starting Point: Starts at the 5K mark of the 10K in the woods.

Awards and Prizes

The overall male & female, masters and grand masters winners get to ride in the parade that will start right after the awards ceremony.

• Trophies: Large (actual) gator-head trophies will be awarded to M/F overall, masters and grand masters divisions.
• Age Group Awards: Smaller gator-head trophies for age group winners male and female, ages 10-19 through 75-99.

📍 Location and Parking

We are located at the intersection of Highway 41 and Highway 17-A so make plans to come out and enjoy.

• Parking: Available at Hell Hole Inc 116 Steel Shed Lane, Jamestown, SC 29453.
• ID Requirement: Please bring your ID for packet pick-up.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

• Early Pick-Up: May 2nd at Fleet Feet Carnes Crossroads, 2509 N Main Street, Summerville, SC 29486 from 3 PM - 6 PM.
• Race Day Pick-Up: May 3rd at Hell Hole Inc, 116 Steel Shed Lane, Jamestown, SC 29453 from 6:15 AM - 7:45 AM.
• 5K Packet Note: If running the 5K, please have your packet by 7 AM.
• Start Line: All runners should be at the start line before 8 AM.

🏅 Course Details

• 10K Course: Starts on French Santee Road, turns Right onto Simmons Rd, then Right onto Tiger Corner Rd, and then Right onto Hwy 41 to the finish in front of Town Hall.
• 5K Course: Starts at the halfway point of the 10K (on Simmons Road), then takes a Right onto Tiger Corner Rd, and Right onto Hwy 41 to the finish in front of Town Hall.
• Shuttle Service: 5K runners will be shuttled to the 5K start line beginning at 7 AM.
