Hampton County Watermelon Festival 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Hampton County Watermelon Festival 5K will take place on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, at 8:00 AM.

📍 Location & Registration

• Registration: Registration will be held at the Hampton Courthouse.
• Packet Pickup: Packets can be picked up on race day only, beginning at 6:30 AM and lasting until 7:30 AM.
• Race Start/Finish: The race start and finish is on Elm Street in front of the courthouse.
• Awards Ceremony: Awards will take place after the race.

🏆 Awards Information

Awards will be given to the top three overall finishers, as well as the top Male and Female in the following age categories:

• 12 & Under: Awards for the youngest participants.
• 13 - 19: Recognition for young adults.
• 20 - 29: Honoring the budding athletes.
• 30 - 39: Acknowledging the active middle-aged runners.
• 40 - 49: Celebrating seasoned participants.
• 50 - 59: Recognizing the experienced runners.
• 60 - 69: Honoring the wise and fit elders.
• 70 and up: Celebrating our oldest runners.

☔ Race Conditions

• Weather Policy: The race will be held rain or shine.
• No Refunds: No refunds will be given for registration fees.
• Registration Deadline: Registration must be received by Friday, May 23rd to guarantee a T-shirt.
