🐕 Race Description
- Purpose: Join the race to help homeless pets at the Humane Society of Jefferson County’s 11th Annual Furry Friends 5K Run/Walk.
- Experience: A safe, tail-wagging experience that is fun for everyone!
- Family-Friendly: This event is family- and dog-friendly.
- Course: A beautiful flat scenic course that ensures first-time walkers and runners can comfortably participate alongside more serious runners.
🏃♂️ KidK Obstacle Run/Walk
- Introduction: In 2024, The HSJC introduced the first-ever KidK Obstacle Run/Walk!
- Age Group: Geared for ages 1 to 6, but anyone can register to get in on the fun.
- Participation: All participants will get a medal. There will not be an award ceremony for the KidK Run/Walk.
- Activities: The obstacle course will have different activities for each participant to explore with color powder, hopscotch style obstacles, rail yard, and so much more.
