🐾 Welcome to Furry Friends 5K
We are looking forward to seeing YOU at the annual Furry Friends 5K. Join the race to help homeless pets at the Humane Society of Jefferson County’s 11th Annual Furry Friends 5K Run/Walk. What can you expect? A safe, tail-wagging experience that is fun for everyone! This family- and dog-friendly event will take place at the Jefferson County Fair Park with a beautiful flat scenic course that ensures first time walkers and runners can comfortably participate alongside the more serious runners.
🏃♂️ KidK Obstacle Run/Walk
In 2024, The HSJC introduced the first ever KidK Obstacle Run/Walk!
- Geared for: ages 1 to 6, but anyone can register to get in on the fun.
- Medals: All participants will get a medal. There will not be an award ceremony for the KidK Run/Walk.
- Obstacle course: The obstacle course will have different activities for each participant to explore with color powder, hopscotch style obstacles, rail yard, and so much more.
