Freeman 5K & 1-Mile Walk for Autism

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

The Freeman 5K and 1-Mile Walk for Autism will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 8:00 am at Bill & Virginia Leffen Center for Autism. The 5K and the walk will both begin at 8:00 am.

📍 Location

2808 S. Picher Ave, Joplin, MO

📦 Packet Pickup

• Friday: 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm, April 25
• Saturday: 6:45 am – 7:45 am, April 26

💰 Entry Fees

• 5K:
  • $35 (includes free T-shirt if registered by April 14)
  • All participants receive a finishers medal.
  • All payments final. No refunds.
• Walk for Autism:
  • Adult walker with t-shirt: $25
  • Adult walker: $15 (shirt is not included)
  • Child walker with t-shirt (ages 3 – 12): $20
  • Child walker (ages 3 – 12): $10 (shirt not included)
  • Kids 2 and under walk for free!
• Price Increase: Increases by $5.00 per event after March 31.

🏆 Team Recognition

• Top Teams: Recognize Top Three Freeman Teams with most participants.
• Fundraising: Recognize Top Three Autism Teams with most funds raised. (Online donations must be made by 11:59 pm on April 23, and cash/check donations will be accepted until 5:00 pm on April 24.)

Awards will be given to the top overall male and female, plus first, second, and third in each age category:
