🏃♂️ Event Overview
Bridging two communities together, the Fox Heritage Run is a unique and rewarding 8K running/walking event that winds along the Fox River and over the beautiful Nelson Family Heritage Crossing. This event is a great way to challenge yourself, enjoy a beautiful trail system, AND see some of the best views in two amazing communities!
🏞️ Course Description
The course starts in the heart of Kaukauna, winds along the Fox River, and then crosses the Nelson Family Heritage Crossing into Little Chute. Participants will then enjoy a portion of Heesakker Park trails, a few road miles in Little Chute and Kaukauna, and finally loop back into downtown Kaukauna. The total distance is 8K, with an elevation gain of 103 feet.
🏆 Awards
The top three overall male and female winners will receive awards.
📝 Additional Details
- Participation: The race is open to runners and walkers of all levels. We especially encourage families to join in the fun!
- Water Stations: There will be two water stations along the course.
- Medical Support: There will be medical support on hand at the start and finish lines.
- Timing: The race will be chip-timed.
- Finisher Medal: There will be a finisher medal for the 8K and Kids Run.
- Unique Swag: In addition to the unique distance, we also plan to include unique race swag.
