Purpose: This 5K fun run/walk is being held in memory of Max Schollenberger, a 12-year-old Annville resident, who died after experiencing horrendous abuse and neglect.
Community Impact: His death rocked the community and galvanized residents to do something substantive to honor Max and ensure he is remembered.
Healing Opportunity: This race provides an opportunity to help heal the community and to support The UPMC Child Advocacy Center of Central PA.
Mission: An organization whose sole purpose is to treat children who have experienced abuse.
