🏃♂️ Event Overview
The East Canyon Marathon has four distances: Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K.
🌄 Course Details
- Start Location: The Full Marathon starts overlooking Salt Lake City at the Big Mountain Pass at the top of Emigration Canyon.
- Scenic Route: This course follows along pine trees, aspens, and several miles along the East Canyon Reservoir.
- Half Marathon Meeting Point: The Full joins the Half Marathon about 3/4 around East Canyon Reservoir where the Half Marathon starts.
- Beautiful Landscapes: The course then heads down Red Rock Canyon featuring great views and unique rock formations.
🌾 Farmland Scenery
- Mile 20 Experience: Around Mile 20 of the race, the course transitions into farmland with beautiful fields of grain.
- Charming Sights: Enjoy cool barns along the way.
🏁 10K & 5K Details
- Course Type: The 10K and 5K are out and back courses.
- Starting Point: Both courses start where all distances finish at the Morgan County Fairgrounds.
