Join us this July 20th for the 7th Annual Diabetes Dash 5K Run/Walk

💙 Cause and Impact
The Diabetes Dash 5K came to be a short time after Ryan Washburn was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in July 2018. After diagnosis, Ryan became very interested in the work of JDRF, now known as Breakthrough T1D and knew he wanted to do his part in spreading awareness, giving hope to those dealing with the disease, and fighting for a cure.
- Mission: Help fund research efforts to someday find a cure.
- Community Education: Educate the community about Type 1 Diabetes.
- Proceeds: Donated to Breakthrough T1D - Southern & Central Ohio Chapter.
- Scholarship Fund: $1,000 awarded to a Westerville City School graduating senior living with T1D in 2026.

Special Note: There will be 2 - $1,000 scholarships awarded this year funded from our 2024 5K.
