- Tradition: The Demarest 5K is a long-standing tradition in the Northern Valley that inspires runners and spectators young and old.
- Participation: At our community event, children run in stride with their families and seasoned runners from surrounding areas.
- Fun Run: After the 5K, the annual One Mile Fun Run takes place for all to participate in freely!
🏫Principal's Challenge
- Training Program: The Principal's Challenge is a gradual training program that is run at each of the Demarest elementary schools leading up to the 5K.
- Student Involvement: Demarest school children (K-8) participate and run weekly with their Principal and coaches to build healthy habits, stamina, and sportsmanship.
- Community Participation: Lastly, they participate in the 5K event with their community.
