• About Us: Compassionate Heart Ministries is a fun, Christ-centered, and safe place for people ages 14 to 45 with mild to moderate disabilities to come, hang out, and make friends!

⏱️ Will the event be timed?

• Timing Company: We are excited to have Michiana Timing helping us again this year!
• 5K Timing: The 5k route will be chip timed (excluding in-person sign ups on race day).
• Fun Run: The Flamingo Fun Run will not be timed, however, fun runners will receive a race bib.

🏃‍♂️ What Is a virtual run?

• Definition: A virtual race essentially means registered racers have from now until May 1 to choose a day to run or walk their own fun run or 5k route.
• Flexibility: You can choose the location of which you will run or walk!
• Shirt Registration: Virtual runners will receive a shirt as long as they register on or before April 8 by 11:59PM.
• Self-Timed: This event will not be timed. You may time your own virtual experience.

📦 Packet pick-up info:

• Date/Time: Wednesday, April 30th from 5PM - 7PM at Compassionate Heart Ministries.
• Registration: This is for any registered participant to pick up race stuff!
• Virtual Participants: If you are participating in one of our virtual events, this is the day to stop by and grab your shirt!
• Race Day Check-in: Race day check-in begins at 4:30PM (another chance to grab packet).

👕 Do I get a shirt?

• Shirt Eligibility: Yes! If you sign up on or before April 8 you will receive a shirt.
• Guaranteed Shirt: Register by April 8th by 11:59PM to guarantee your race shirt.
• Shirt Supply: Participants that register after April 8th are not guaranteed a shirt, as our supply will be limited.
• Type of Shirt: Our race shirts are short sleeve, wicking shirts.

👶 What are the age group divisions?

• Age Groups: The 5K age divisions are: 1-6, 7-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74.
• Gender Divisions: Each age group will be separated into male & female.

🐶 Are pets allowed on the course?

• Policy: No. For the safety of all runners & walkers, we ask that you do not bring your dog(s) or other pet(s).

📏 Is the route USATF certified?

• Certification: No. We have done our best to map out a 3.1 mile 5k route and a 1.1 mile fun run route: however, it might not be exact.

✉️ Oops! I selected the wrong race route OR t-shirt size! Can I change it?

• Change Request: Yes! Simply email kendra@compheart.org with your change request before April 8th at 11:59PM.
