CASA Superhero Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for the CASA Superhero 5K fun run/walk and 10K run through historic Leavenworth, KS, followed by a kids' superhero race (100 yards).

💖 About CASA

The CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) concept is based on the belief that every child has the right to a safe, permanent home. Unlike attorneys and social workers, the CASA volunteer speaks exclusively for the child's best interests.

• Volunteer Dedication: The CASA volunteer handles only one or two cases at a time.
• In-Depth Exploration: They explore each assigned case's history thoroughly.
• Comprehensive Communication: The volunteer talks with the child, parents, family members, neighbors, school officials, doctors, and others involved in the child's life.
• Formal Reporting: They submit a formal report to the court recommending placement.

💰 Entry Fees

• Standard Entry: $40 through July 31st
• Late Registration: $45 Aug 1st through August 26th
• Superhero Run (kids 12 & under): $10
