👟 Event Overview
The Blauvelt Lions Club is celebrating its 72nd Anniversary with its first ever 5K JOURNEY FOR SIGHT Run/Walk event!
🎯 Purpose of the Event
- Fundraising: This special event will help raise funds for the many Vision Loss charities the Lions support.
- Beneficiaries: Supported charities include Vacation Camp for the Blind, Visions/Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and the Association for the visually impaired.
- Additional Support: The event will also benefit other charities, such as Penguin Plunge and Lions International Disaster Relief.
- Scholarships: Funds raised will contribute to scholarships for TZHS students.
🤝 Community Involvement
The Lion motto is “We Serve!” and the Blauvelt Lions look to embody that motto with service efforts to benefit the local community and those in need.
