Race Overview
GCR is excited to announce that we will be hosting the 13th Annual GCR Thanksgiving Race this year on Thanksgiving!!
Pre-Race Packet Pick Up
- Recommended: Tuesday 11/24 & Wednesday 11/25
- Location: Naples on the Run (20 10th St. S. Naples, FL 34102)
- Hours: 11AM-4PM
Race Day Packet Pick Up
- Start Time: Race day starting at 6AM - NOT RECOMMENDED
- Arrival: Please arrive no later than 6:00am if you have not yet gotten your race number and shirt.
- Packet Pickup: At the race ONLY from 6:00am-7:25am.
- Registration: NO DAY OF REGISTRATION.
Race Details
- Walkers Welcome: Both the 1 mile walk and the 5K allow walkers.
- Starting Position: Please start near the back if you are walking/strolling/dog walking.
- Start Times: One official start at 7:30am; those near the back will cross around 7:35am.
- Timing: Your chip time will not start until you cross the official start line.
Kids Race Information
- Cost: Free, but do NOT include a shirt!
- Registration: A parent must sign them up to agree to the waiver.
- Medals: Medals will be given, likely from a past Thanksgiving Day GCR race.
Course Details
- Location: Starts on 5th Avenue & winds through downtown Naples!
- Parking: Plenty of FREE parking (multiple 4 story parking garages within 200m of packet pickup).
- Participant Perks: Shirts to all paid participants; Race Medals to all finishers!
- Charity: This race benefits St. Matthew's House and our Youth Development/Scholarship Fund.
Canned Goods Collection
We are collecting canned goods for St. Matthew's House. Please bring your non-perishable items to packet pick-up or to the registration area on the day of the race.
Event Timing
This run/walk will be a GREAT way to start your Thanksgiving weekend!
Course Duration: Course open for 90 minutes.
