Beach to Beer 5K & 10K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Good Day for a Run Returns to Colonial Beach, VA for their 8th Annual COLONIAL BEACH TO BEER 10K/5K Races and 1 Mile Walk.

This Race Proudly Supports BAMM.

🌟 Race Features

• Scenic Course: Scenic 5K and 10K Race along the Potomac of Colonial Beach.
• Timing: Chip-timing, Live-streamed Results, and Awards.
• Awards: 5K and 10K Awards are for top 3 Overall and Top 3 per Age Groups Under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, and each decade.
• Fast Course: The Course is Flat and Fast! 10K Starts at 9 AM. 5K Starts at 9:05 AM.
• Walkers Welcome: 5K Walkers and all ages welcome to participate, need to be registered, and start on time behind runners at 9:05 AM.
• 1 Mile Walk: 1 Mile Walk option available for all ages and starts at 9:08 AM. (Non-timed) Please register by Oct. 6 to guarantee receiving a shirt for 1 Milers. Many extras ordered and available while supplies last after Oct. 6.

• Craft Beer: Colonial Beach Brewing & Ice House Brewery will be onsite providing local craft beer options.
• Event Shirt: Quality event shirt included or upgrade to Long Sleeve for $6 extra. Women's cut, Adult/Men's, and Youth options. Please register by Oct. 6 to guarantee your first choice.
• Custom Glass: ALL Participants receive a Beach to Beer Custom Beer Glass.
• Refreshing Stations: Water Stations on Course and at Finish Line.
• Finish Line Snack: Complimentary Snack at Finish Chute.
• Parking: Free Parking available.
• Photos: Free Downloadable Photos for all participants.

🎉 After-Party Fun

• Live Music: Live music by Spike Burton Music performing until Noon.
• Beer Garden: Enjoy cold Craft Beer at the post race Beer Garden - presented by Colonial Beach Brewing and Ice House Brewery. Non-alcohol options available too.
• Food Truck: On-Site Food Truck selling delicious meals.
• Lawn Games: Various lawn games for the entire family or for you and your friends.
• Chairs and Blankets: Please bring your own beach chairs or blankets to hang out after in the beautiful waterfront park!
• Strollers: Strollers are permitted.
• Weather Policy: Race is rain or shine. No refunds or deferrals.
• Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick-up on race day from 7:30-8:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" tent at Town Hill. Second PPU date TBD will be posted and emailed.
